Who We Are

Today, Temple Beth Shalom is a growing and dynamic congregation of over 140 families. Shabbat Services are held twice each month, Friday evenings at 7:45 p.m. in our new building at 50 Division Street, Hudson. See our Calendar page for the schedule of services.

The Temple has combined its Sunday morning Religious School with the Cleveland Hebrew School's Solon Branch, located at 6545 SOM Center Road, Solon, Ohio 44139. Sunday School is for grades kindergarten through grade 9 (confirmation). Hebrew School is held at Temple Beth Shalom on Thursday afternoons for grades 3 - 6.

Temple Beth Shalom is fortunate to have a truly dedicated professional staff: Rabbi Susan Stone, Cantorial Soloists Renee Berenson and David Wolinsky, and Youth Group Director Oudi Singer. The Temple is also supported by many members who serve on a volunteer basis to insure the vitality of the Temple.

What We Offer

Programming is planned to involve the whole Temple family.

TBS has monthly adult education events and an adult book discussion group. Social action projects are developed each year to further Jewish causes and enrich our local community. An ongoing TBS project raises money to support a righteous gentile.

The Temple family likes to have fun!

The Sisterhood is very active and hosts the Temple Hanukkah Fair and a huge Silent Auction each spring. There are adult socials as well as family picnics and sporting events. Training Wheels is a monthly program in coordination with Hadassah, designed for preschoolers and their parents, which introduces children to Jewish holidays and celebrations.

Although the Temple has grown dramatically over the years, it endeavors to maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Please come join us so we can share who we are today and our vision for the future. For more information, please call the Temple office at 330-656-1800.
